SEM Specialist (Contract)
Status: Part-time (up to 20 hours per week)
Location: Remote (M-F availability within 9am-5pm Eastern Time)
Role Overview: As an SEM Specialist, you will drive performance for assigned projects and clients related to paid search. This role is up to 20 hours per week, with agreed-upon daily availability during standard business hours.
Responsibilities:
Direct management of assigned Google and Bing ads accounts.
Conduct ongoing optimizations and analysis to meet (and exceed) client KPIs.
Manage budgets through monitoring and adjustments to ensure spend levels are hit.
Conduct keyword research as needed, including generation of new keywords to expand keywords and analyzing search query reports (SQRs) to add negative keywords.
Optimize and create new ad copy for existing and upcoming campaigns.
Analyze data and trends to identify optimizations contributing to client success.
Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of Google and Bing advertising platforms.
Clear understanding of PPC best practices including bid management and campaign setup across paid search, display, and YouTube/video advertising.
Experience implementing PPC strategies and tactics, particularly for B2B audiences.
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage tasks in a fast-paced agency environment.
Strong writing and communication skills, including providing detailed campaign analysis to our Director of SEM.
Ability to analyze PPC data, identify trends, draw conclusions, and implement findings to enhance performance.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing Google and Bing ads.
Demonstrated experience in B2B environments.
